This was a solicitors office in Dublin 4 – the door was not too bad but the surround and the exterior basement walls were in very bad condition.

We scraped and sanded the walls as much as possible then treated them with a stabilizing solution before applying two coats of a good masonry paint to bring the building back to its former glory.

We understand the sensitivity of working with older buildings, our preparation and professionalism is second to none.

This house had not been painted in over 20 years and the dashing had never been painted.
The client was going to have the front door replaced and it was working out very expensive.

We advised him that we could make it look great again for a fraction of the cost of replacement and when the job was finished he could not of been happier.

Varnishing door

This door was in bad condition and had a dark stain on it.

The client wanted it to be as light in colour as posable, so i had to strip the old stain, varnish off and re-coat with a clear varnish.

Painting PVC windows and doors – inside & out

We were asked if it was possible to paint pvc windows and doors inside and out and yes is the answer – you can paint just about anything as long as you use the right primer.
There was nothing wrong with the windows and doors but the client just wanted a change and to modernise the look of the house, she went with an eggshell finish and was delighted with the results.

Stripping & repainting house exterior

This house had been painted many times before and the paint always flaked and peeled off, this was because it was not being prepared properly before painting.

We had to strip the old paint off, use a stabilizer on the bare walls and then paint with a good quality masonry paint, once this is done there are no further problems.
